Formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1997, Underoath released three albums before the abrupt departure of founding singer Dallas Taylor in 2003. But it wasn’t until Chamberlain signed on that they hit the screamo jackpot with 2004’s They’re Only Chasing Safety.
