Why do you need a Calvary Army in Warband?
1) Calvary units allow faster map movement. 2) Mounted units cannot use horses during sieges and village attacks. Mounted units are generally worse during sieges due to: b) Inability to use infantry only weapons. (The significance of which varies with mod, though lacking Siege Crossbows is pretty painful to me)
