Why does season 2 of AOT only have 12 episodes?
The first is that 12 episodes is pretty standard length and fits well with the seasonal pattern of anime. 2nd is that they don’t want to catch up to the manga too quickly. AoT releases chapters on a monthly basis so the rate of of material coming out is not that fast.
