Re: Do all Cubs have hydraulics? It is possible. Not hard to do, all the items are bolt on. You would need the Hydraulic pump, Hydraulic lines, Touch Control unit, rear rockshaft and rear lift rod to have the same capabilities as you would have on a handlift tractor.

Re: hydraulic oil level Take the fill plug out the hydraulic should be at the bottom of the hole. After you put some oil in you should start the tractor and move the hydraulics and trun the tractor off and check the level again. And add oil until it is at the bottom of the fill plug.

the fill plug is in the middle of transmission case at the rear of the tractor. the two plugs on either side are to check the final drives. you should use at least an AW48 hyd oil in all three compartments. Iforgot to tell you to fill until oil runs out.
