Does 2002 WRX have Avcs?
The USDM 2002-2005 WRX and the GC-generation JDM turbo engines did not come with AVCS. It is possible to use these engines in place of a USDM EJ205 since they are “plug and play” and will run with no modification necessary.
Does WRX need to be broken in?
You really only need to be concerned with breaking-in your new Subaru for the first 1,000 miles. It’s not recommended that you hold a new Subaru at a constant speed or RPM for extended periods of time. You should also avoid hard stops and acceleration unless in an emergency during the break-in period.
