Before powering down and disconnecting the drive, unmount the system by simply dragging the G-RAID Studio icon to the trash located in the dock. What should the raid settings be on G-Technology?
Using the G-Technology configurator, you can change the RAID settings to either RAID 0 (Stripe) or RAID 5 (Redundant Stripe). The RAID 0 setting will allow for an increased performance across both drives and display the maximum capacity available.

What kind of chipset does the G-RAID mini use?
G-RAID mini with USB 2.0 uses two different types of chipsets Oxford and JMicron. Should you have a serial number with a “JM” at the end, please download the JMicron chipset utility. If your G-RAID mini does NOT have a “JM” at the end of the serial number, please download the Oxford chipset utility.
